DevHub is a developer community on Discord. We're not affiliated with any company, not funded, and not trying to sell you anything. Just a space for people who build things with code.
What DevHub Is
A community for developers of all levels and stacks, from people writing their first for loop to staff engineers with decades of scars. We have channels for help, project feedback, open source collaboration, job hunting, and general developer life.

Roles
Roles in DevHub serve two purposes: they show what you're into, and they gate certain channels to keep them relevant. Use /roles to assign yourself from the self-serve menu.
- Tech Stack Roles - JavaScript, Python, Rust, Go, Java, etc.
- Interest Roles - DevOps, AI/ML, Game Dev, Mobile, Design, Open Source.
- Experience Roles - Beginner, Junior, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert.
- Ping Roles - Announcements, Polls, Events, Giveaways, OSS Projects etc.
- Level Roles - lvl 1, lvl 5, lvl 10, lvl 15, etc.
- Activity Roles - Peak Active, Honorable Avtive, etc.
- Special Roles - VIP, Nitro Booster, GitHub Contributor, Early Supporter, Partnered Server Owner, Bot Jam Event 2026 etc.
- Staff Roles - Supporter, Staff, Mod, Admin etc.
Moderation
We have a small team of volunteer moderators and a couple of admins. Mods handle day-to-day enforcement. Admins handle appeals, bans, and larger decisions. The Owner makes final calls on structural things.

Events and Giveaways
We run occasional events, code jams, and giveaways like Discord Nitro. Watch #events for upcoming events, and #giveaways for any giveaways.
